Who it's for

Owners who need a real website without an agency invoice. The builder generates a complete multi-page site from your actual shop facts, and keeping it current is a conversation, not a project.

Where it fits

The website is a lead source: quote requests land in the same Lead Inbox as directory leads, with the same convert-to-job flow and revenue attribution. It lives under Grow → Website, with the full-screen editor at /website/editor. See directory.md for the other half of the demand engine.

Overview

Three layers, all optional — use as much as you want:

• Generate: the wizard interviews you briefly and builds the whole site — pages, navigation, theme, copy, and imagery — grounded only in real shop facts. It never invents testimonials, reviews, or team members.
• Edit live: the actual site renders inside the editor. Click text to edit in place; hover a block for controls; add, reorder, restyle, or regenerate blocks. A chat copilot applies changes you describe, after you approve them.
• Host: instant yourshop.wraptor.io subdomain, or connect a custom domain with automatic SSL. Sitemaps and SEO metadata are handled.

Screens & navigation

• Grow → Website — status card, publish controls, domain settings, and the door to the editor.
• The editor (/website/editor) — live canvas with the block library, theme picker, page/nav manager, and the AI copilot panel.
• Your site — the public site at your subdomain or custom domain; unpublished changes preview privately.

Capabilities

• Block library (~20 wrap-native blocks): heroes, services, portfolio (pulled from your real jobs), pricing, reviews, hours/map/contact, FAQ, CTA bands, galleries, a multi-step quote wizard, and a blog engine for shop posts.
• Themes: 10 designed themes; your brand colors and logo flow in from shop settings; custom font uploads supported.
• Multi-page with navigation management and per-site sitemap.
• AI: the generate-my-site wizard and the edit copilot both output structured blocks (never raw code), so everything stays editable and theme-able afterwards. AI work is billed in platform credits; new shops get trial credits to taste it.
• Leads: quote-wizard and contact submissions land in the Lead Inbox with source attribution and the same ROI tracking as directory leads.
• Domains: subdomain by default; custom domains verify through the dashboard and get SSL automatically. Existing sites migrated to the new engine with zero downtime.

Step-by-step tasks

1. Generate your site

   1. Grow → Website → Generate my site.
   2. Answer the interview (services, area, tone); confirm the brand pull.
   3. Review the generated site in the editor; publish when happy.

2. Change something by hand

   1. Open the editor; click the text you want to change and type.
   2. Hover a block to move, restyle, duplicate, or delete it; add new blocks from the library.

3. Change something by asking

   1. Open the copilot panel; describe the change ("add a PPF section under services, darker hero").
   2. Review the proposed edits and approve — they apply to the live canvas instantly.

4. Connect your domain

   1. Grow → Website → Domains → add your domain; follow the DNS instructions.
   2. SSL provisions automatically once DNS verifies.

Limits worth knowing

AI copy is grounded in your shop's real data and will refuse to fabricate social proof. The blog and quote wizard live on your site, not the marketing hub — posts you write there are your shop's content, not Wraptor's.
