Plans — pick the subscription that fits your shop

Who it's for

Plans is for the owner or manager who decides what Wraptor costs and what it unlocks. Starting a trial, upgrading as you grow, and managing your card and invoices all live here. Day-to-day staff never see this — only a Manager can touch billing.

Where it fits

Your plan is the gate in front of the whole app. On a paid or trial subscription you get the full dashboard; without one, Wraptor sends you to the plan picker. Your tier also quietly decides how far some features stretch — how many people you can add, how many locations, how much file storage, how many AI generations a month, and whether extras like your in-app inbox and proofing are switched on. You choose a plan once at sign-up (with a free trial), then manage it anytime from Settings.

A separate Free Claim tier exists for shops that claimed their directory listing — it's marketing-tools-only and skips the dashboard. Everything below describes the paid plans and the trial.

Overview

Five self-serve tiers plus a sales-led one. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required.

Paying annually is cheaper than twelve monthly payments.

What every paid plan includes: the full job board, quotes, proofs, calendar, invoicing, CRM, inventory, your WraptorMail inbox, the AI assistant, newsletters, and social packaging. The differences between tiers are mostly scale (how many seats / locations / GB / AI credits) plus a couple of extras:

  • Custom branding (your logo and colors on customer-facing pages) starts at Starter and up.
  • Solo has everything else a small shop needs but not custom branding.

Franchise is for unlimited everything and is set up by talking to our team — it isn't on the self-serve picker.

Screens & navigation

There are two places plans live:

  1. The plan picker (/select-plan) — where you choose a tier and start your trial. You land here automatically when you sign up, or whenever your shop has no active subscription. It shows four cards (Solo, Starter, Pro, Business) with a monthly/annual toggle. Franchise isn't shown — contact us for that.
  2. Settings → Subscription — once you're in, your live plan, usage meters (seats, locations, storage, AI credits), and a Manage Subscription button live in Settings under Accounting & Billing. Manage Subscription opens our secure Stripe billing portal, where you add or change your card, switch plans, download invoices, or cancel.

Capabilities

Start free

  • Begin any paid plan with a 14-day trial — no card up front. You get the full app immediately.

Right-size as you grow

  • Move up a tier when you need more seats, locations, storage, or AI volume. Higher tiers unlock more of each.

Manage billing safely

  • Add or update your card, switch plans, download past invoices, and cancel — all from the Stripe portal, which Wraptor never stores card numbers for.

See where you stand

  • Usage meters in Settings show how close you are to your seat, location, storage, and AI-credit limits before you hit them.

    4. You're taken into Onboarding to set up your shop, then the dashboard.
  2. Change or upgrade your plan

    2. Click Manage Subscription to open the billing portal.
    3. Choose the new plan; the portal handles proration and your card.

    2. In the portal, update your payment method. (You'll be asked for a card when your trial converts to paid.)

    2. Find the invoice in the portal's billing history and download it.
  5. Cancel

Settings & permissions

Who can manage billing Only a Manager can start a trial, change plans, or open the billing portal. Other roles who reach the plan screen see a "Subscription Required — contact your administrator" message. There's no separate "billing" toggle to hand out; it's tied to the Manager role.

Trial → paid A trial runs 14 days. To keep going, add a card through the billing portal before it ends. If a trial lapses, you'll see a "trial has ended" prompt to pick a plan.

If a payment fails Wraptor gives you a 7-day grace period — the app keeps working and a banner asks you to fix your card. After the grace window, the shop goes read-only (you can view but not change things) until payment succeeds. Update your card from the portal to restore full access right away.

Canceled A canceled subscription blocks the dashboard at the end of the period and routes back to the plan picker. Your data isn't deleted — resubscribe to pick up where you left off.

Tips & common pitfalls

  • The trial needs no card. You can explore the entire app for 14 days before paying. Add a card only when you're ready to continue.
  • Free Claim is not a shop plan. It's the marketing-tools-only tier for claimed directory listings — it doesn't open the dashboard. To run a shop, pick a paid plan.
  • Custom branding starts at Starter. If putting your logo and colors on customer-facing pages matters, Solo won't do it — choose Starter or higher.
  • Watch the meters before you hit a wall. Adding a teammate past your seat count, a location past your limit, or uploading past your storage cap is blocked until you upgrade. Check Settings → Subscription to see your headroom.
  • AI credits reset monthly. Each tier includes a monthly pool of AI generations; it refills about every 30 days. Heavy AI users should size up.
  • Past-due ≠ locked out immediately. A failed payment gives you a 7-day grace period before the shop goes read-only — fix your card in that window and nothing is interrupted.
  • Billing changes go through the portal. Plan switches, cards, invoices, and cancellation all happen in the Stripe portal via Manage Subscription — that's the one place to manage money.
  • Franchise is a conversation. Unlimited everything is sales-led; reach out rather than looking for it on the picker.
  • Onboarding — runs right after you start a trial; sets up your workflow, materials, and brand.
  • Settings — hosts the Subscription panel, usage meters, and Manage Subscription button.
  • Team — your seat count is your plan's seat limit; adding people past it requires an upgrade.
  • Inbox — WraptorMail is included on paid plans (not Free Claim).
  • Files — uploads count against your plan's storage cap.
  • Marketing — newsletters, social packaging, and the AI Writer are paid-plan features.
  • Invoicing & billing — billing your customers (separate from paying for Wraptor).
