Warranty Certificates — the professional close
Register the film and coverage on any completed job and your customer gets a branded, printable warranty certificate that travels with the vehicle.
Registering a warranty
Open the job → Details tab → Register warranty. The form prefills the customer, vehicle, and install date from the job; you add the film brand (3M, Avery, XPEL — any brand, Wraptor is neutral), optional series, and the coverage term (1–12 years). One warranty per job.
What the customer gets
An email with a link to their certificate — a clean, printable page showing the shop, the vehicle, the film, install date, and an Active/Expired badge computed from the coverage term. The link is public (secured by an unguessable token) so it can be forwarded to a future buyer of the vehicle.
Why bother
- It closes the job like a pro shop, not a side hustle — customers keep the certificate, and it has your name on it.
- Film-brand warranty programs lock shops into one manufacturer's ecosystem; yours works with whatever you actually installed.
